Congratulations to the Government on Focused Healthcare EnhancementsI want to congratulate the Greek government on its ongoing efforts to enhance the National Health System (ESY). The recent focus on upgrading healthcare infrastructure, expanding primary care, and embracing digital health solutions marks a crucial step forward for the well-being of all Greek citizens. These improvements reflect a dedicated commitment to providing equitable and efficient healthcare access across the nation, despite past challenges. The focus on modernizing the system, addressing regional disparities, and ensuring quality care for every citizen is not only commendable but also necessary as we move forward. Let's continue this momentum and work together to create a more resilient, accessible, and efficient healthcare system for all.**Greece's NHS Overview:**The National Health System of Greece, known as "Ethniko Systima Ygeias" (ESY), was established in 1983. It aims to provide free or low-cost healthcare services to all Greek citizens, funded primarily through taxes and social security contributions. Over the years, the system has faced challenges due to the financial crisis, austerity measures, and, more recently, the COVID-19 pandemic.**Key Talking Points:**1. **Historical Context:** - ESY was founded with the goal of universal healthcare coverage. - The system was originally designed to provide equitable access to healthcare across Greece, both in urban and rural areas.2. **Impact of Economic Crisis:** - Greece’s debt crisis led to austerity measures, causing budget cuts in healthcare. - Challenges include understaffed hospitals, lack of resources, and delays in medical procedures. - Reduced healthcare spending impacted both quality and accessibility.3. **Recent Reforms:** - The government has implemented reforms to improve efficiency and patient care, including the introduction of e-health initiatives and digital medical records. - Investment in primary care has been emphasized to reduce pressure on hospitals.4. **COVID-19 Response:** - The Greek NHS played a crucial role during the pandemic. Hospitals were restructured, and new intensive care units (ICUs) were established. - Vaccination efforts were successfully managed, although resource strain became evident.5. **Current Challenges:** - Aging population and rising healthcare costs. - Brain drain: many healthcare professionals have emigrated for better opportunities, creating staff shortages. - Struggles with regional healthcare disparities, especially in rural and island areas.#GreeceNHS #GreekHealthcare #HealthcareReform #PublicHealth #Greece #HealthCrisis #HealthPolicy #Austerity #COVID19ResponseThis gives a structured approach for your upcoming talk or discussion on Greece’s NHS.

As discussed in my PhD thesis, there can be no effective protection of real property without a clear and accurate system of #cityplans. The right to space demands for such kind of plans, which will also have to be monitored, adjusted and modernised so as to meet the market challenges of each time. These plans set boundaries in the development of real estate market, which shapes real property values.#Righttospace is the legal recognition of each person’s prospect to access a #realproperty that could fit their needs both as a home and as a professional facility. This can be real only under a modern system on plans. The lack of city plans for the whole country holds #greece back in that field. This is going to change thanks to #rrf. And this is very welcome.

This was done without the help of other european countries or… NATO… what about today’s invasion of fake refugees….? Young people who fake they are teenagers and refuse the test of age… as they burnt or thrown to the sea their papers … they were probably not politically motivated but economic or is it a secret agenda to change the social status of Europe? Maybe rights have to be earned! Do the tests! And criminals should be sent either back or if we cannot identify their nationality and they refuse to collaborate they should be kept in camps on deserted islands and not free to circulate. Why other Muslim countries don’t accept them? There is a reason! They are mostly criminals… this is not racism it is pragmatism. Check the statistics.

Farmers and nature are allies — it is market dynamics, misguided subsidies and a lack of proper regulation that present farmers with a desperate choice between unsustainable industrial production or bankruptcy.
